KLINIK MATA MAHENDRA INDONESIA

Saya sedang menunggu di klinik mata Mahendra Indonesia. Karena sudah satu bulan si Nomor Satu sering berkedip-kedip dan mata merah.

Kenapa jauh sekali di Bintaro, padahal ada klinik mata besar dekat rumah? Karena she is the best pediatric opthamologist in Indonesia. Referensi dari beberapa dokter kenalan kami.

Kesan pertama, nunggunya lamaaa...
Pantasan saja waktu daftar giliran menjadi pasien beliau bisa sampai 1 tahun. Tapi memang pemeriksaannya harus teliti dan cermat.

Sambil menunggu, anak-anak bermain.

Nanti kita lihat bagaimana hasilnya.

kenapa pula ke dokter mata, padahal optik ada dimana-mana?

Sebab saya mengharapkan terapi, kalau optik kan tujuannya untuk jual kacamata.

Happy New Year 2015

Hi, a quick Happy New Year to all of you. I am holidaying in Bali
right now. And just want to wish you all Happy New Year.

Just to wrap up my 2014:
1.I made my first Birthday cake for Number One.
2.Made another Birthday cake for Number Two.
3.Threw the first birthday party for Number Three. No, I did not make
cake for his first birthday. I guess he is…. lucky… hehe.
4.For the first time ever, forgot to gift DH on his birthday. Hahaha.
5.Registered Number One to Primary for next year. Geez. How time flies.
6.I spent 90 days of 2014 in Bali. Can you believe it?
7.Started to make friends with school mommies. Coz usually I am a bit
anti-social.
8.Met Mentor Suria Mohd in August. Learned a lot.
9.Met a mentor in dermatoglyphic in October, or is it November? Bring
back my passion and mission in education.
10.Started to do a business again in December. Closing 3 transactions
in December. Small small business but it makes me happy.

We had a big aviation accident closing the year. My condolences and
prayers go for the victims and families of the casualties. It is heart
breaking. It reminds us that life is fragile. Embrace it with a
thankful heart.

I would like to thank all of you for the friendship in year 2014. May
2015 brings goodness and wellness to all of us.

Parenting SOS : 31 Biblical Virtues to pray for your kids ( with printable)

We have tons of good times parenting the kids. But not less some bad moments.
Some days were just desperate... such as when they are just naughty because it is their job to be naughty. C'mon, they are kids...

Some days were so desperate...
like when she intentionally peed on my childhood photo album.
like when he screamed and told me he hates me.
like when he just said he would throw away his sister.
like when.... bla bla bla..

One day an auntie come from Singapore and gave me a small card titled "31 Biblical Virtues to pray for your kids". So one virtue per day.

The first time I use this card is when Number One and Number Two were fighting with each other without a definite cause, saying unkind words.
I said, "Please, dont say mean words. How would you feel if I say mean words to you?"
They immediately changed their language to blabbering, bitching to each other.
i was like... what?? (do you quarrel for the sake of quarrelling itself?)
And he hit her. She screamed the house down. He yelled back.
i was so mad but don't know who to scold.

So I went to an empty room, start to pray. I pulled out this card and start to read it. Number One came in and asking me, "What are you doing Mama?"

"I am praying for you and your sister and brother, Son."

I started to read this card out loud, from number 1 to number 31.
He sit down quietly and listened.
Halfway he went out to find his sister.

I finished the prayer to the sight that both of them playing together lovingly, friendly, and peacefully.

Hmmm, it must be the power of Prayer...
